The number of players who have admitted using steroids in a confidential survey conducted by the NCAA since the 1980s has dropped from percent in 1989 to percent in 2003. [5] During the 2003 season, there were over 7,000 drug tests, with just 77 turning up as positive test results. [5] Scukanec claims that methods were used to get around the drug testing, whether it be avoiding the tests by using the drugs during the off-season, or flushing the drugs out of your system. This was used with a liquid he referred to as the "pink." [5] He stated:

I have supraspinatus tendonosis and am told biceps tendon and bursa implicated as well. For years I have slept on my stomach hugging one pillow in each arm and angling my head down. Now, with this injury I try to sleep on my back but can’t. I assume that it is bad to sleep on my stomach with my arms up, but honestly, its more comfortable than on my “good” side which hurts my ‘bad’ shoulder – guess I need a pillow under that arm. And oddly, snuggling up on my ‘bad’ side, with shoulder against the underneath-pillow, isn’t bad at all.

Thank you for your posts. I too have some kind of shoulder injury. However mine is NOT from the flu but from Prevnar (either meningitis or pneumonia), and it was a 4th semester nursing student, about to graduate, who injected me. When she wiped my shoulder I told her she was too high (I am a surgical tech and just got into nursing school myself) I told her to go lower, she said ok and dropped down maybe 2 mm. I instantly had pain in my shoulder joint. I have no previous injuries to my shoulder but by the end of the day I had lost almost all range of motion in my arm. The loss of ROM lasted for almost 3 days but never fully returned. I cant lift my arm in certain directions and the pain is through the roof at times, especially when scrubbing and gowning and gloving surgeons. Its been 9 days and nothing helps. Can anyone tell me if the symptoms they were experiencing went away?
